照片中小米為本場協助在地小米異地保存，並將精選繁殖的小米返還部落，為深化保種與傳承的意義，達魯瑪克部落舉行隆重的迎接小米儀式；當日小米在放入祖靈屋前，會先祭拜天神、祖靈及地靈儀式，之後再做入倉儀式。
