思念祖先

撒奇萊雅族的祭典非常多，每個月分都有固定的祭典，是一個非常慎終追遠的族群。這首歌曲描述著思念祖先或過世長輩的情景，有時長輩會唱給晚輩聽，說著以前老人家如何照顧他們、養育他們，和教育他們，同時也告誡後輩，要謹記祖先的教訓，要將祭祀的習俗與觀念，代代傳承下去。
歌舞進退場歌

歌詞均為襯詞，於祭典或活動時，婦女歌舞進場或退場時，串場時所唱的歌，婦女的隊伍，邊唱邊跳進入祭（舞）場。這不是正式演出的節目，而是進場前的暖場歌和退場時，隊伍可以整齊的離開。

有意義的歌詞均已失佚，目前僅留有襯詞。歌曲緩慢而沉穩，意義在描述生活的情況，例如農耕、狩獵、遊樂、休閒等。吟唱人可以依當時的情況，將歌詞改為自己要描述的情境。撒奇萊雅族人早期的生活以農耕、狩獵，及捕魚為主，生活步調雖然悠閒，但勤奮的撒奇萊雅族人，休閒生活卻少，多半仍以工作為生活的重心。
火神之歌
國立傳統藝術中心臺灣音樂館
本曲原為勇士之歌，於火神祭舉辦後，成為火神祭曲的重要歌曲，以表達對於火神Komod Pazik勇於為族群犧牲的勇士精神。曲調穩重而渾厚，配合男士精神有力的舞蹈，更顯得歌曲的力道。西元1878年，大頭目Komod Pazik率領族人，與噶瑪蘭族人共同抗清，雖然最後沒有成功，族群從此衰敗，幾乎滅亡。
