這首歌在任何場合，不管是豐年祭、休閒或交友等部落的活動，都可以唱。在多納部落，每一首歌都以這首為開頭，然後再變換歌詞 , 如果臨時想不到別的歌詞，就會以這首歌詞來代替。這首歌的內容沒有甚麼特別的意思，它可以說是多納部落唱歌時的第一首歌。

這是一首每年豐年祭將結束時所唱的互道珍重的舞歌，全曲皆以齊唱的方式配合著舞蹈來進行。其中大部分的歌詞都不具意義，有意義的歌詞內容為：我們今年的歌舞及聚會就到此為止，讓我們彼此心連心的團聚在一起，直到永遠。
