在所有種過的作物當中，印象較為深刻的是「花生」。由於當時是種植在斜坡上，種植難度跟平地比起來難上許多，只能拿著小小的鋤頭，一個洞一個洞慢慢挖，再把乾的花生種子一個個埋起來，約四到五個月就能收成。現在回想起來仍相當累人。
